Client keeps instant minimizing then crashing

Hello,

I just started playing this hell of a game again.
For some reason, whenever I try to open the client on my stationary PC (windows 10), the client instant minimize and crashes/close. The latest Java is installed.
I tried to uninstall and install Java a few times. Also, i tried to install the RSCR client again. Same thing keeps happening.
Whenever i open the client, it will open for a split second (it seems), and then crash. No file error, no program is running.

It works fine on my study laptop (windows 10 EDU).

Anyone else tried something similar? Anyone knows a fix?

Can you open powershell or command prompt and type in "java -version" without quotes.

Thank you for replying to my post regarding my cleint crash problem.

Neox:

C:\Users\Mads>java -version
java version "1.8.0_201"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_201-b09)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 25.201-b09, mixed mode, sharing)

I also tried to force exec of the client through the Powershell.

Start-Process java -ArgumentList '-jar', 'RSCRevolution.jar'

Same issue. Client keeps crashing after milisecond. It's not a firewall problem. I have no idea tbh @_@

I managed to take a screenshot of the client crash.
The file name is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_201\bin\java.exe

It looks like you copied and pasted the wrong thing? Can you post a screenshot of the error after running on powershell? You can post to imgur.com and get a link from there.

Open Notepad and Copy and paste the following:

java -jar Launcher.jar
pause

"Save as" RSC.bat (or anything you want, as long as it has .bat suffix).
save to the same folder or directory where Launcher.jar is
Double click RSC.bat to open the launcher!


If that doesn't work, try using jarfix
