Rotate camera by holding down middle mouse button would be a very good add, no need to have your second hand in keyboard arrows all the time to rotate camera.

Sounds pretty similar to the way the camera is rotated on the android version. Cool idea!
There is indeed already an option to turn on/off the scroll zooming (wrench menu -> visual -> Zoom with Scroll/Swipe)
