Hi, I have heard of having to take an extra step to run the game on Windows 10. A player submitted this workaround which is tried and true.

To fix follow easy steps:

1. Create Text document
2. Add Text:

@echo off
start "" javaw -jar Launcher.jar

3. Save as .bat file ( make sure is not a text file ( save as type - chose all files ) ) ( before .bat u can do any name ex. run go play rsc etc ..... )

4. Most important :

if u save launcher on desktop so save this file too on desktop : ( same location as launcher)

5. DONE !

Well, now the screen just stays black after I log in.

how do i make the launcher a .jar file? it is currently .class

i redid it all again and it's still class file. don't know what to do  played a ton last year and it all worked fine

is there a guide somewhere the shows step by step how to use external client?

*** Figured it out. My antivirus was blocking and removing some components of the download. shut it off and redownloaded it and it opens right up. thanks for trying to help me out***

That's why I'm still happy with my Windows XP.
