Some clients used to have this, hotkey to start/stop. Would be a neat and handy feature.

B) be pretty crappy and feature lacking compared to contemporaries (OBS Studio, Cam Studio, Fraps, hell even Nvidia shadow play for us people who have compatible GPU's ect)
my point is it doesn't seem like an important feature with all the super easy ways to screen record these days.

Rsc servers since 2008 had screen recorders built in. Time to modernize the game, not use seperate programs like its 2005.

Smartphones (At least the Galaxy series) has the Gamelauncher which lets you record. big_smile

You do realize that the screen recorder feature on clients back in said year of 2008 made more sense then because your only other decent "free" option was "Unregistered Hypercam 2" or something. Today we have many many MANY decent FREE options to record a screen.... so please explain how using an (lets be honest) inferior built-in video capture and encoder is "modernizing" the game.
