Dynamic Pathing

I'm sure this would have been fixed already if it was an easy thing, but it's just so annoying.  Is there any way to make it so that if a non-aggressive NPC blocks a characters walking path, the character can just automatically change the route and go around it and continue to its destination?

They should overall just change the npcs so you dont get stuck in them unless they are agroing npcs. Really ridiculous to get stuck in npc that is not even going to attack you.

they should still block if they are in your way. make you fight your way down a tunnel etc. the dynamic pathing i presume would only apply if there is room to go around the passive or a currently fighting npc. long overdue idea.

I don't want this because it's not like original classic.  Besides, it makes sense that you would actively have to walk around a creature in your path; you're not supposed to be a robot(although some play like they wish they were). 

In my opinion dynamic pathing or whatever you want to call it would interfere with suspension of disbelief, which is at the core of why I even like to play this silly little game.
