Are Tourneys Farms for Bored Players?

I was wondering, since there is no limit on the amount of chars you can have on here, are the same people starting these tourneys so they can pay to get people to vs them?

It wouldn't be unfair, though.  It wouldn't be illegal as far as I can tell.  I'm just curious if this is what's  happening because it would explain a  lot. You start a tourney, you can participate in it, right?  There's no limit on how many IPS you use for tourneys as long as it's one at a time per tourney.  Right?

There is a limit in place against having more than 1 character in the tournament. Evading it can result in DQ or ban.

Other events can be toggled whether they are limited to 1 or not.
