Why would any1 pay up from my understanding u can only have 1 per char . Either u farm it in wildy or do the quest and i m more of a quest guy much more fun then killing npcs .

It's tough to accommodate everyone without making the double xp last for too long, but I agree, maybe extending it out to Monday or even until Tuesday would be nice.

EDIT:  Here's an idea:  What if, instead of the typical double xp weekend, it worked like XP easter eggs?  Every char gets 1 non-trade-able Halloween token placed in their bank.  The token gives 48 hours of double xp.  The token can only be activated between Oct 27-Nov 3, and if you don't use it, it disappears from your inventory after Nov 3rd when the event ends.

Here is an exceptional chanse to get skillers to feel the thrill of pking, let us all have free armour during this week,  which will then dissapear with the food casts pots.

Give em the curage (of me) to step into my area and ill guide them and lead them to victory against the pkers of revolution

Give us a whole event of free pking, where the skillers get the taste of blood they will return for more

Wrath of Zaros

Our meddling at the Digsite east of Varrock has awoken an ancient, vengeful god!

Last month, we excavated the talisman of Zaros.
You may recognize this seal from your battles in the Reaper's Lair, or from ancient magicks during your travels in the oldschool parallel universe.
Regretfully this meddling at the digsite caused a deeper shift in the earth.
Now Zaros, the lord of death, has arisen. Only by defeating him can we save rscrevolution!
If you defeat Zaros, the new cosmetic rare, his dreaded death's head skull mask shall be yours to own forever.
This limited quest event will run until November 5th! Talk to the Doomsayer in Edgeville to get started.

If we don't defeat Zaros, we can all say goodbye to Christmas in December.

It isn't all bad, though. The gods Saradomin, Guthix, and Zamorak still have some tricks up their sleeves...

Temporary Free Food & PK Gear

The Cursed Warrior in Edgeville has come from back in time when rune was purple to give free PK gear!
The gear has stats same as rune and will disappear when the event is over.
Everyone should PK or hunt the Revenant in the wilderness now, with nothing to risk!

Aggie in Draynor's free Witch's Brew will grant you the strength needed to get through the days ahead, particularly if you the type of player that fights in the wilderness.

Mad Zeonk in Edgeville will provide you with an ancient talisman that allows you to cast infinite spells in wildy without needing runes.

Later this week, he will also have a store that gives temporary free rune sets that only have stats in the wilderness, so EVERYONE can PK without fear!

The free pumpkins in the Monastery west of Edgeville now heal you more than any other food in the game. There is a bank chest at the pumpkin patch. Saradomin's Blessing: A select few players will be randomly chosen to keep one pumpkin when the event is over.

Creepy Costumes for All

Kaqemeex in Taverly will give you a Cloak of Shapeshift will allow you to disguise as any man or beast you dare approach!

Revenant

Be warned, the Revenant has arisen to fight again during this haunted holiday!
He drops PK gear and goods, rare rings and a hunter's cape, and a chance to drop the new black halloween mask tradable rare!


The Revenant roams around in the eastern 1v1 wilderness north of Varrock, so go well-geared and with friends.
He will run to eat and cast on you like a real PKer; he also has three prayers: (50% block range, mage, or melee).

Double and Boosted XP!

For the entire event from Saturday 28th to Sunday November 5th, all our players will enjoy Gold and Platinum subscribed benefits. In addition, players who are subscribed in actuality will receive +1x to all rates.

But wait, there's more. The tempting Devil XP in Edgeville can, one time during the event only, activate 48 hours of doubled experience rates for your character. This timer continues even if you're logged out and doesn't stack with any other form of boosted XP besides subs.

But will this pact come at the cost of your soul?
