I need help after update

im running ubuntu 16.04 and i was able to run the .jar properly before the update. But after the update when i run it, it starts off good it loads the latest news and update log but when i click the PLAY button the client opens but it is solid white all i can do is adjust the size of the client or close it.

Are you running the Launcher with proper permissions? It seems to be unable to load the files Launcher downloaded.

Also check if this folder exists
/home/ttc345/rscrevolution/

i just got home it did not work i checked for the folder and i checked the permissions. it is still all white i have attached a link to a screenshot on the left is the launcher pre-PLAY button, top right is the client after clicking play and bottom left are the permissions i will continue to work on it and see if i can find a solution. If you can think of anything i would greatly appreciate it.

java.io.FileNotFoundException: /root/rscrevolution/rscrevolution.jag (No such file or directory)


is it looking for the rscrevolution folder in my root folder i think it should be looking in /home/ttc345/rscrevolution/rscrevolution.jag

I think Launcher is downloading them to root folder and client is trying to load them from your user folder. However both should be looking from your user folder..
Are you able to run the Launcher as root?

You have to download the new Launcher from http://www.rscrevolution.com/Launcher.jar

then you can delete the old launcher
