Price of Mith Ore

What's the avg price of Mith ore? I just sold some for 1k each... But someone told me I got ripped off, is this true?

Doing a quick check, Addy ore is selling for between 2-4kish, and the only mith i see is some mith certs for 6k each, 6k for 5 ore comes out to 1200gp each, so not too far off whats on market right now. 

As with anything, supply and demand, fewer items/options up the more you can charge.
