I figured I'd post about my first month give or take of playing. I say give or take since Abasuns subs actually ran out about a week ago, Abasun3's ran out last night.
Why am I posting this?
-Interest sake
-New players curious what is accomplishable in a month
-Old players curious what is accomplishable in a month
-Introduction since... I never made one when I started
Thoughts on server
Server is great I haven't tried it on android as I'm still holding onto my windows phone (might have to change cuz of pokemongo). Considering most people probably don't pay for subscriptions it's quite stable with lots of good features(thank god for batching).
Some thoughts
-Cannons will continue to be rare due to the fact that cannonballs are bugged experience wise. Double subs according to server rates should award 100exp, it only awards 50, also batching is non existent for it. Thus you are losing out on a fair amount of experience per steel bar(100ish) PLUS it isn't batched.
-I guess it makes sense to continue to have the blackarm/phoenix gang requirements though i see people always struggling to find the other partner
-AH is great!, hotspots are cool(no pun intended)
-Population is surprisingly high usually, obviously the more the merrier but 50-110 online always is pretty damn good.
-Wish we knew the exact combat formula ( as in how much is 1 armour worth vs def etc) I downloaded the rscd server to check, could post the methods they had used(which i assume was the original rsc ones?) but unsure if they had been changed/ if n0m and fate consider it privileged info.
-ability to plate pure is pretty awesome as well, even if it is a bit expensive for new players.
- the new character quests(quest givers with ! above them) are amazing I had a ton of fun doing these
Characters after 1 month
Few notes first, I came to server myself with no friends on server thus the following was gained entirely by myself.
However... first day i was playing level 20ish on Abasun UNCLE decides to have a drop party which i score rune kite, rune2h, rune large, and a drag med, I sold the med for 1.2mill which was more than enough to get me started.

I did cook's assistant 8 times in a day with new players after we had a ad running on facebook, day after we added those custom/mini quests/tasks, haha. It is very helpful for new players to actually get some gear and into the game, by different things, fishing/magic/cooking/woodcutting, so they start of with different type of styles. I noticed tho that most of the players wanted to woodcut? Idk if that is good money in RS2, or so.
But those quests was a great add.
Starter food tho, is always appriciated to be givin to new players, etc Tunas/Trouts and such.
