Rare/cape items on death

What happens to rare items when you die? Normally you keep the 3 most expensive items, but if skulled and no prayer all drops.

For sake of argument, skulled, no prayer.

Seen a few people out in the wild with bunny ears or phats pking...so just wondering if they were that sure of themselves, or you cant actually lose them, only trade.

Same question for the skill capes
does the killer get the cape?
Does it stays with you?
Can you get a new free one from the seller?
Or its just gone and youre out 500k?

Hey to answer your questions:

Skulled with no prayer, you will lose all items in your inventory (except, interestingly, gauntlets from family crest). This includes rares and skill capes.

Bunny ears and Scythes, unlike on real vanilla RS, cannot be recovered from the Varrock clothing store. The PKer would get to loot those rares from the person they killed, which means, yes those PKers are being cocky smile

Skill capes would be dropped if you are skulled no prayer, and would not be visible on anyone else's character - similar to how a quest item will not appear for other players if someone drops it. You would have to purchase another for 500k.
