Forum activity is important, however, I do not agree with this kind of concept. I believe it entices people to post quantity without quality, sometimes meaninglessly, just for a number. It's no Facebook chatroom, but at least its (mostly) clean.

Do you ever have useful posts? Most everything you post is bitching. Be useful man. Add your input rather than opinion. Big difference between the two.
