The dueling glitch that makes you drop all your items

This bug has existed for very long time, it would be great if everyone gave some information about the duel they had where it happened.

Who were you dueling with?

What rules were enabled?

What kind of actions did you do in the duel? (Did you misclick on ground? Did you cast? Did you try to use inventory items? Prayer?)

Anything will help, thanks!

It happened to me once a long while back.  I had just got guthix so I was funning people in edge and maging them to death.  I killed one guy in a fun duel and his stuff dropped.  (All options were left unchecked and I fought him using guthix)  But I have killed many people before and since then with mage without any issues.

I dueled 337 the other night just to kill him after he staked, nothing checked, I had rune and drag on, he ended up dropping over 100m worth of items, I being the nice guy I am gave all his stuff back but could have robbed the shit outta him, hope this gets fixed soon so people dont lose their hard earned things.

Okay, Projectile damage is out of the question then. Anything specific that you did during the duel? I want to know every click you made that you can remember.

Would be great if you guys that stake a lot would start recording the duels. That way I can see better whats happening

it happened once to me while on yoyo yos that didnt have mage enabled as well, other 3-4 times were against Reines with mage enabled. toggled atk and def between hits only.

i remember two of the times trying to use spells and getting the ::toggleaggro error. i hadn't logged and it had reset itself somehow.

Interesting...That's another problem for sure, as there were duels without spells that made you drop all items.

Just disable stakes untill the issue is delt with? Ifv never had it happen to me thankfully. However I did die in wildly not skulled and lost everything. Also lost d battle when had protect on twice. Maybe just spawn 2 guys and keep dueling trying different stuff ect? Seems rather difficult for players doing legit stakes concentrating on what maybe did it in the first place..with switching and what not? Maybe best to find out does it happen more often on box stakes or armour on as a indicater perhaps.

Can't do that. Test server is not active enough to get accurate results from experimental patches. Players usually give the items back and when they don't staff will get them to do it.

Edit: 20mins of dueling with magic off & weps on. No unstaked items dropped.
