Deleting characters

I would like to be able to delete a character from my forum profile. I kinda don't see why this isn't a thing already. I have filled up slots from characters that I messed up and would like to be able to delete them to be able to make a fresh level three or something.

Once upon a time existed a player named Jango.  Jango loved clicking pixel rocks for long periods of time.  Eventually jango started spamming global chat with updates on the amount of ores he had aquired. Jango reached 97mining very early in the server life and his stock pile of ores would make one super rich back then.  One day someone hacked him took all his ores and deleted his account  The end
