I wouldn't necessarily be against it if you still met the quest requirements. As it sits now, you can buy the map piece from worm brain. Tough call though, probably won't make it, on account of pay to win. Pay to skip UP for easy klanks.

It could be introduced as another money-sink though, pay 1M gp to Duke to bypass quest & wear rune plate.

Hey I mean if the account has the requirements for said quest, the items needed in their inventory, and say some sort of 'bypass card' I don't think it's that big of a deal.

This isn't retail rscrevolution servers... It's a 'private' server. It is indeed something that is kind of ridiculous, yes... But having said that, it being a real $$$ sink would deter a lot of people from using it. All-in-all, it would just be a good money maker for server/website costs IMO.

But yes -- I do see both sides.

Revenue for the server is always a good thing. It's not even game breaking or pay to win.
