It's not just a 2 month 'play-period' it's a 2 month 'open period' where any current member can ensure themselves access from there forward.

It's hosted on the rscrevolution.com domain, not any separate URL like runescapeclassic.com or something - assume any other link is an attempt at phishing/malware and do not click it (phishers/hackers will likely be using this hyped opportunity to prey on unsuspecting players trying to get into the game quickly and blindly clicking links).

You must have a member account to register, log in, and play. (And before anyone asks: membership is shared across all games, so whether you play RS3 or OSRS doesn't matter, a member account is a member across all games and will have access.)

The doors to make an account will remain open for only two months (ending either at the end of February or early March, they simply said "two months"). You must make your account during the two months to have access to the game, and by doing so you will have indefinite access to the game.

You will start on a new, totally fresh account (all level 1's and 10 HP) on Tutorial Island. Even if you played rscrevolution Classic back when it was the main game, your RSC account was wiped and you will start with a totally fresh account.

You will play on separate servers than people that have had RSC access since 2004 (they have access to their own veteran server that new players cannot join).

Please read all of the points. There are separate servers. One veteran/old one where previous players still retain their characters -- however, newcomers from this phase cannot participate there.

Sounds like it's a way of them trying to put an end to private servers whilst making some extra cash.

I can't find any info on this at all on their site or even how to play classic.. Can't even find out how to message them directly even on Facebook.

You can't see when you have created the account.

If it's anywhere before 2003-2004, rscrevolution had not start tracking stuff like that since.

I won't be going back. I enjoy the more tailored/minorly customized experience here. It's more current and allows for a better experience IMO.

Is anyone clear on whether or not veteran RSC players can log onto their veteran accounts in the new servers?

Even if your a veteran you may not be able to due to a certain period of when you had to log in..belive it was between 2004 to 2005 August times.
