New Launcher and Christmas Presents

Merry Christmas!

I have worked on making the Launcher better, including new GUI and better cache updater.

Web client has been removed completely from our website due to browsers no longer supporting Java applets.

Download it from http://www.rscrevolution.com/Launcher.jar

UPDATE: Present Giveaways are now rolled for 1 character per IP. Multilogging won't help you get presents.

The present giveaway is now active, one randomly selected player online will get a present every 30 minutes and one of these items is what you get when you open the present:

Additionally the moderators will hold events which reward presents.

I would have prefer to make a quest for these items as well, I am not sure if there's enough time left for that. We'll see.

Android client broke, once u log in there is black smudges around screen, you cannot chat or move. There is no menus etc just middle of screen. Tried to uninstall and reinstall with no joy. Anyone else having same issue?

Not to be rude but if only one is given away an hour there are not enough Rares given away, there's almost no way any of us could get a full set.

Edit: android client stuck in update loop for me,  Uninstalling and reed downloading...

Web client has been removed due to the lack of support from browsers.  Please use our Launcher.

New version for android is released now which will stop the update loop.

Uninstalled client reinstalled and updates,  still same problem! 

Also so if 150 people are playing that means that one person will essentially get one item per person and there's more people playing than that,  I'm really disappointed in this decision

Problem solved when the installer is done you must hit close rather than open,  this forces the program to restart and then you can reopen with the updated client!

True. Maybe make it more frequent or more than one winner each hour.

Download latest Java at http://www.java.com and try to open it like this:
