maybe they figure it would cost too much,not too quick to down the server, I really like it but i will agree if real life is too busy for the admin right now that runs the server perhaps they should give Hobbs at least some kind of ability to reset it couldn't be said any better.

I sat here and read every post on this thread for about 30 minutes. I noticed it was started 5 and a half hours ago so I'm thinking.. sucks for them, it has to be up by now. Lo and behold, this muthafuckas still down. As you can tell by my post count, I'm not one to speak up.. I tend to go with the flow. Twice in 3 days I try to play a bit before sleep, but instead I'm left staring at pornhub with my dick in my hand. I guess I was less aggravated over pixels while retired ----- slowly drifting back to real life. Let Hobbs run the server if you just wanna ball out with subscription money all day and night. I want my next donation (if ever) to go to Hobbs.. Give Hobbs salary FTW!!!!

The bummer part is he is most likely sleeping.

I can't remember where Fate is from, what country. Though Every time this happens at night(it is currently 11:23pm I'm -7 mountain time), it usually comes back between 1:30am and 3:00am my time, which I'm assuming is the time Fate is waking up to start the day wherever he is. Always the same time.

Server went down at roughly 5:15pm my time which is 6 hours ago. So if I'm correct, we have a max of 3 and a half hours left.

Imo considering rscrevolution classic is far from a demanding game, he probably runs the server on his personal computer hence the lag spikes and down times.

With the donations I think renting a server from a hosting company would be very wise. You guys are thinking prices are a lot more than they are. Don't need a super server to handle the game and connections. I'm guessing $50 a month. I've rented a lot of servers over the years for different games.

Not only would it be cheap... It would be very stable, you can give whoever you want(Hobbs, and maybe a trusted Mod for when Fate, n0m, or Hobbs isn't around) control over it using the supplied programs whichever company etc etc...

Just my 2 cents. Take it as you will. Than again... Better form of contacting each other could make a big difference as Well. Though if he is sleeping, may not make any difference.

I used to play this game called ArenaScape which was a text-based rpg with a forum on tip.it that was basically like that. Quite a few RSers used to play it back in the day, anyone else remember it?

I remember it being advertised, never played it.

Do you remember jagexs' other games called "monsters" or something, you had a head, body and a tail piece you had to upgrade and fight others lol
