Just as a note, I'm trying to get either n0m or Fate to wake up currently. They're the only ones with access so they're the only ones able to restart the server.

Unsure what caused it to crash, considering the site is still online.

Hopefully I'll get in touch with them before the 00:00 GMT mark.

Edit: It's kind of odd, seeing as we just reconnected for a moment and then went down again. Neither n0m nor Fate came back yet, so the reconnect was automatic. I'm always hesitant to blame an attack though, especially if I'm not on to see what's actually happening.

Edit 2: It's an attack. I checked the host's panel for network activity and we have massive spikes of activity showing up. I guess someone didn't want the Halloween events to succeed or rares to be introduced.

A timed attack to prevent activity is indicative of fear, to be blunt. Fear of progress and potentially splitting up the playerbase again perhaps.

When something is dead or dying in this community it gets abandoned and ignored. Nature takes its course and things end on their own. When someone steps in, however, to try to prevent activity to force it to end, it implies they feel there's potential for growth that they need to stop.

So I guess what I'm trying to say is, whoever's attacking RSCR currently, I want to thank you for still believing in us.

If this is the case then my assumption that it's an attack might be wrong, and the host itself might be screwing up, considering we're both on the same host. Not sure how they could accidentally cause this degree of traffic though.

Edit: Not seeing any lag there so I'm not sure what you mean.
