Hello, just didn't know if anyone had any idea where to start with this. I can launch the game totally fine but after maybe 10-15 mins of playing the game just crashes.

Are you able to get any errors in console? Did it work in the past? Maybe you're on old files, try launcher?

I am a little new to linux. I successfully have it where I can click the file and it opens. Let me try to start from scratch because I cant get it to open via terminal. So even though im not sure why its opening the file directly and not working from terminal, I feel like it should be. Will report back after some tinkering today.

I couldn't get it to work on mint, so I downloaded a different version of linux, like someone suggested in the original linux post that is stickied. They are correct, there is a client download directly for it. I downloaded it. It launches, and then after some time again it just crashes.

OK without any errors it's tricky to say why. I will install linux myself and give it a go soon.

Fuck Linux.  Value your time and sanity.  I write code for a living and give Linux a good try every year but always end up going back to Windows.  It has nothing to do with tech savviness.

Enjoy the civilization/ecosystem Microsoft has built and ditch the operating system that has been duct-taped together for several decades and still can't seem to get its act together (hint: it's ran by basement dwelling neckbeards who don't shower; why would it ever improve?  They all lack situation awareness).

I totally understand what youre saying and I dont mind windows really, but with windows 11, the it uses a ton of resources that bogged down everything on it and with my desktop its a bit older, and its sole purpose really is playing OSRS and things like that. It just runs better with linux on it vs windows and I dont have to worry about not being able to update to windows 11 with it.

But as of writing this I still havent gotten the game to work without crashing. Installs fine just crashes.

Could you explain what a crash looks like?
