So, I clicked download external client, it downloads as a jar file but when i click it to open and play the game it asks me what i wanna do with the file so i say open and it just brings me to a file manager and keeps duplicating itself everytime i hit open. I just want to play! lol

Are you sure you have the latest version of java?
If you do, maybe try running jarfix ( https://johann.loefflmann.net/en/softwa … l#Download )
Those two steps usually fix registry issues when trying to open the .jar files smile
