Just like the npc that tellies you to the wildy, make it so you don't have to carry cash to buy shit from the AH.  Take it from the bank!

I'd say -1  because this helps people who aren't paying close attention from getting suckered by "1,999,999" appearing as "1m" or "12,999" appearing as "12k" and withdrawing more money than they meant to spend.

Yeah. I kinda agree with you on that point.
But to be honest i would rather see a change in AuctionHouse if not too much work to actually make it so it shows real number.

12999GP should shown as 12999 and not 12k.

And so on.
