Dear Pkers

An interesting discord conversation happened today with quite a few of the top pkers around here. The interesting and much debated topic of “ganking”. This is when you have a team of pkers and perhaps stumble across a solo pker, or maybe 2 or 3, and all gang attack him/her dead with larger numbers.

Quite honestly, anyone that has been in a team has probably done this, I am guilty of it myself. The problem that this has is the solo pker that gets ganked is not having any fun, and therefore will probably not return to the wilderness, ultimately losing a potential future pker/player. If you read back through these forums over the years there have been multiple players “quitting” blaming this subject alone.

Over the year’s limitations have been tried, and failed, in wilderness and I’m not about to reintroduce any of these.

What I am going to ask you PKers is to all have a Gentlemen’s agreement:

  • No more team alliances.
  • No more ganking! If a lone pker is already being attacked by 2/3 players do not join in, give them a chance!
  • Try to play with fair numbers.
  • No massive teams with multiple team tags. This only limits the number of players to PK against.

So, a Gentlemen’s agreement means these rules are not enforced but each of you that agree to stand to these can reply here with “I’m in”
If every pker agreed to this we would have a much more active wilderness and happier players.

How does this help the growth of the server? It only gives the guys who have unlimited accounts more of an advantage.

No one is going to agree to a 'Gentlemen's Agreement' - This is the most toxic server I've ever played, be real.

Focus on real problems such as:

Empty castle for over 1 year?
Spots in wildy rarely used a part from fort
Non genuine 2ip at fort
Skillers not having any more incentives to play for
and another laggy, poor oiled server again trashing Rev for organic numbers.

Fix real problems, please.

this has to be one of the stupidest things i ever heard of. how about u man up and make it 2 accounts per ip everywhere in wild not just fort. fort is like the only spot u can actually have the fairest fight which is still 2 accounts per person everywhere else its 1 guy using 10 account vs 1 person to make sure he doesn't die. instead of begging players to play fair how about u just set new rules in wild. you're actually begging the most toxic community i ever been apart of to play nice thats not going to happen.

another thing some guy using 4 flats vs 1 person using 1 is just as bad as gang banging

I agree this server owners and admins have no balls they're so scared of how a group of 7 people would react if they changed it to 2 accounts per person in wilderness that they refuse to change shit.

stop trying to keep 7 people who use 120 flats and ruin the wild instead try to keep new players who want a fair game. again using 2 accounts to 1 isnt fair,but its alot better than 1 person using 10 flats vs 1person and his single account.

I've got many years under my belt and so many experiences with the community here.. And this.. this gents is terrible. I'm afraid I cannot support this idea. If this is what you feel that will save ''Pk'' then I'm afraid that you're sadly mistaken. I've made many friends here and many enemies along the way... I'm sure most will disagree with this. Limitations of PER account use in the wilderness was the best idea planted and yet, you guys removed it. Things won't change.

You're a prime example of why this is a bit of a silly idea.

The wilderness activity has spoken for its self over the last few months, only a select few players (mainly those who have hundereds of chars) want there to be no restrictions in the wildy.

Fix real problems please.

So your telling Renevald a guy with 1 account, who goes out and PKs, how terrible it is for multi loggers ganking you.

You get a screenshot as a single clienter, who owns one flat, pking alone of someone multi logging you and ill attack them every war first forever.

Your complaining about too few accounts? you've grinded lists on Rev, turnip v 1,2,3(whatever else), dyna and Dawn.

You have grinded more than Donald ffs maybe if you just stick to playing Rev instead of jumping to every new server that opens you would have accounts?

I have never seen a single person using 10 accounts vs 1 person, 1 client, in entire time I've played rev. I helped your team on rev and your issue was never lack of accounts it was the fact that only you in the entire squad could make more than 3 catches in a row.

You know rev was one ip whole thing? then two ip, all though those changes your team refused to play rev and instead played turnip where there were limitless restrictions. Now you've moved to another server with even less restrictions than rev????????

You mean when they deleted fort and had no replacement for months, then put in those ghastly towers, then went against a majority vote twice and erased a bunch of shit from the wildo?

No he means way before that when the wilderness was made 1ip, every single part of it. The only people who continued to play were me, Huy and FFL. I wouldn't continue if those restrictions were brought back, it's not enjoyable to only play when you can gather a team large enough to fight the massive team already out.
