The pk rings block a certain amount of damage. Or reflect it etc.
To my knowledge, this amount is linked to your character like dragon amulet charges are.
So if you're starting out to the pk scene on a fresh trip your ring could be at 1 dmg absorb and that is it.

My idea is to be able to reset your ring charges by sacrificing it, destroys 1 ring to restart your count down back at 24 etc.
Maybe add it to all jewelry with charges.
