Note on Hero's Quest and Partners

Hey questers! On a private server sometimes it can be difficult to find a partner for Hero's Quest. This means you need to take extra care to pick a gang that is in demand, and to make friends and find someone who will be your partner. But we understand that can be inconvenient, and frustrating. If you can't find someone after searching to the best of your ability, I volunteer to be your quest partner under these four conditions:

1) You have been actively searching for a partner in-game and on forums, and
2) Your partner thread on forums is at least one week old, and
3) You have not done Hero's Quest on any of your other characters, and
4) You agree to use the candlestick etc. to complete the quest (not for profit).

Please post here with a link to your thread once you have actively sought a partner for over a week. (Note: If you do not want to wait a whole week, and don't have the time to find a partner, there are usually candlesticks available on Auction House that you can buy.)

Hey all, you may have noticed that it is impossible for Iron Men to complete these three quests on their own: Family Crest, Shield of Arrav, Hero's Quest.

We have approved workarounds using mod commands for each of these quests, so being an Ironman should no longer restrict your ability to complete any quests. Just get a mod to assist you until the solutions are hardcoded.

Hey quick note, if you are on an Ironman you can trade shield half or candlestick by 'using' it on another ironman.

Also, no one has taken me up on this offer to be their partner for hero's quest in some time. I'm still offering it if the requirements in first post are fulfilled!

+1 i spend week to finish quest ... but i finish it by buying candlestick from ah for 500K

I'm part of Phoenix and I did get some help. The person who helped already did the quest already which in my understanding doesn't matter. For some reason he couldn't get the candlestick though so now I'm stuck in the same position

Have you checked the auction house for a candle stick? Sometimes people have extra, which allows you to skip the part of the heros quest on brimhaven.

Additional note on hero's quest with ironman / ultimate ironman: in addition to using candlestick on ironmen, you can also use the 'miscellaneous key' and 'bunch of keys' on ironmen. Therefore, completing heroe's on ironman requires the phoenix gang member to tele grab the 'bunch of keys' after killing Grip by ranged, and then use the item on their partner who can then get the candlesticks.

Just got through the quest with ironman this week smile
