Improvements to RSCR

Here's a few suggestions. Most of these would be easy to implement, but these are just my opinions.

1) ::Mods command

   * This would make it easier to get a hold of a mod in case of a bug. Since RSCR is growing, new mods are getting added all the time. This would make it easier to always have an up to date list. Would be useful for new players / phone users / people that don't use Discord.

2) Last log in on friend's list

   * A way to see how long it has been since someone logged in. This feature is useful on Steam and helps people clean up friends list / see when friend was last online.

3) Advertisement

   * Hosting a fundraiser, or upping the membership charge a small percentage (and using that money for only ads), would give a bigger budget to advertise. RSCR is the last stable option for classic, I'd like to see it grow. The only issue I could see with this is the potential for unwanted attention from rscrevolution.

4) Change to mining cape

   * Most of the non-combat skillcapes have a potential to get 2x of whatever skill you are doing (chance to smith 2 bars, chance to craft 2 items) but the mining cape feels almost useless in my experience. I timed both of my 99 miners (1 with cape, 1 without) and mined 2k coal a piece. You'd think the character with the cape was faster, oddly enough it was slower haha.

The mining cape currently does this:
"- makes you more likely to succeed at getting ore on any given swing"

I'm proposing that we make it like many of the non-combat capes and give a chance of 2 ores in a single swing. Why not make the mining cape more useful? Almost all of the other capes give you a chance of 2x, and at 99, the chance of missing a rock is already very low.

5) Able to click out of bank / log in welcome screen without clicking "close window"

It was this way either on RSC or another private server, I forgot. Clicking where you want to start walking (rather than clicking close window) was a lot easier. This isn't a major issue or anything, but this fix should be fairly easy to implement and is useful.

Ah ok, nice. I'll take that out of the list, thanks Blahh.

Good suggestions smile

1.
There's a Staff section under the Community tab on the website, but it would be nice for people on phones to have it in-game. Although staff members are sometimes busy or would like some space to breathe, they have the option to show or hide their online status.

2. That's a really interesting feature! I would personally like to also have a right-click note option for people on my friends list in order to help remember why I added them (friend, skilling, pvp, anecdotes, who knows what). Would be nice in case either that person chooses to be offline for a longer period of time. It's hard to remember all nicknames, especially when people change them.

3. I don't have any knowledge of the financial position of the server, so I don't know what would be best, but it's always good to look ahead and secure the server's future smile

4.
That would be really cool! (bringing a mining cape into the wildy and risking your pickaxe and more). Also really nice because of the long grind past 99 mining in order to gather enough materials for 99 smithing.

5.
Always hugely in favour of being able to click out of windows (though it's annoying to accidentally decline a trade when you've finally put all the items into the trading window, haha). This would be really nice for beds and sleeping bags, too! Given that the Captcha window can't be closed other than by solving it. Perhaps even an option to stop windows from popping up upon login altogether? I don't know.

Definitely agree with #5, it was that way on RSC and I still find myself trying to do it even now.

Everything else sounds good as well.

Sometimes you will never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory.
RSC - gone, but never forgotten.

I like a lo of these ideas, I would like an easier way to see what mods are available and maybe a direct link pm option.

I like vinkies idea on FL, this is one of those games where you never remember why you added someone if you don't stay in contact with them regularly.

Number 5 would be great for sure. I'm always wishing that when I log on.

My own suggestions for the forum itself would be a search feature unless there is one I cannot find.

1) There's already a list of all the moderators under the "Community" tab > "RSCR Staff team" on the site. Most people just look at it once and add all or some of the mods to their in-game friends list. Also I'm not quite sure what you mean by the suggestion.  Would the command just pop up a little black box showing which mods are currently online? I mean, I guess I'd be in favor of it, but it does seem kind of redundant.

2) I'm ambivalent about this suggestion, but Vinkie's thought about being able to leave notes about why you added someone could be cool, but I'm not sure how implementing it would affect the GUI in a way that is non-intrusive to other menus. With a little thought put into it, I'm sure something could be figured out. I like it in theory.

3) A fundraiser could be cool. We do advertise on different places throughout the interwebs, but optimizing and expanding our means for outreach is always something to strive for. I don't agree with raising the price of subscriptions though.

4) I'm definitely with you on your suggestion for changing the function of the Mining skillcape.

5) As for this one, it seems like a no-brainer. It's a simple quality-of-life update that I can't see anyone objecting to.

Good suggestions!
