Hi. I have a galaxy s7 edge running Android 8.0 Oreo and the app does not work for me.

All I get is unable to update cache files and the launch client button don't do anything. Is this a known fault?

When you open client, is it asking you to update?  If so, tell it no.

Hi. Just to let you know that by uninstalling, running ccleaner and reinstalling I got it to work. Works great on Oreo!
