I wouldn't ever consider doing anything in a place I vouldnt get my items. That's why the entire fort system is lame and myself and lots of others won't bother. Makes larger teams larger and able to park bypassing 1ip almost with the setup and small amount of space. It needs to be rethought to make all player teams be able to use it. Anyone who has more pkers parked and online will always win. Like others have said, it's a deathtrap and waste of team update in my mind.
Good point, the current set up it's almost impossible for anyone who can't participate in that type of PKing to compete by this I mean skillers people who don't really PK much, don't have alts etc. Even those who do, fighting with x against double numbers in such a small area is almost certain death in most situations therefore unappealing to a lot of people which ruins the consistency of PKing
I don't think there's anything wrong with the concept of the update, it should require teamwork and a balance of pkers/skillers to hold it and it's clearly team orientated so we need to expect constant battles (that's the point) but even with the new timer on the bank chest which makes it easier to get the chest, IMO there's not much incentive for people who aren't already established PKers to give it a try because of the minimal escape routes, same goes for small teams of experienced PKers who think they can take/want to beef a bigger group.
Something as simple as removing a moat or adding a few bridges I think could shake up the PK, just think about it there's so many different ways it could for Pkers and skillers, luring people out, catching, small teams can attempt to do quick raids on bigger teams and much more - rather than the only current one which is ''go fort, die, fuck''. The way it is now is a team will be holding it, a huge team will come, then there's no pking for hours. The general idea of more escape routes or easier access could be the key to getting more people up there and having a go at it. I hear a lot people don't want to go because it's a deathtrap. More small teams in wild taking out the big teams means more PKing right? If not, I wasted 5-10 mins writing this post and Billy wasted 10 mins removing the moat or adding the bridges and n0m wasted 2 mins restarting the server.
The loot system is great, everyone has a pretty good chance at getting something with a bit of teamwork doesn't really need to be changed. Everyone has different tactics and we all play the game differently and that's totally cool, I'm not here to cry or bitch, just want constant PK'ing,
