Ill give you props for half reading what I was trying to say:
Yeah reset kd that legit players have earned spanning over 2 years...give it a rest with your stupid idea..#fool
Let me clarify it for you .
1. What I suggested was ending(re-reading it it did sound like removing the old cape, I apologies for that) the old way where you get a kill point for any kill, skulled/non skulled (IE all the afk killers..no skill there).
2. Next add a new cape(keep the old still) (same symbol, maybe red/green/another color to differentiate them) This new one will be only for skulled kills.
3. Now any new skull kill will give a kill for the old cape as well, so you can finish it off, just not with nonskulled, so you can still get that if you were 10 kills away, just the next 500 skulled kills go towards the skulled cape, which would actually show skill as they are trying to fight back. (yes i know some do ::skull for extra xp in wild, that would be the trade, do that, extra xp, but you can be killed for a point).
The ::farm idea was just because I hear lots of people complain about lack of pking going on, and some of these same people i see going around killing trainers...who are trying to train up so they can pk...Kinda shooting themselves in the foot there.
It would be similar to the ::pk someone else suggested where if you enable that you can attack anyone else with ::pk enabled anywhere (except banks or something) but used to just farm for 5 straight hours and once enabled you cant turn it off to quickly kill someone in the wild.
1st off your training in WILD there is a reason it better xp if some kills you while you afk that is YOUR fault blame noone but YOURSELF.
2nd off what does pk cape have anything to do with it? I pked here for 2 years to earn my3 capes I gotta suffer because you don't got one?
3rd off u put multi restriction on wild people will just proxi and they will prevail I don't understand why this is a problem the plying field is equal everyone is welcome to pk how ever they want.
4th off alot of people cry multi log when the player is only pking on 1 account. It not OUR fault that YOU missed the catch allowing us to long off and switch accounts.
Get over yourselfs and stop crying to be catered on.
1. Only reason I train in the wild is anything attacks you, where in normal once you get twice their lvl (unless its an aggressive npc i think, correct me if im wrong) they no longer attack. Also there are lower lvls there so trying to train 99/1/99 is easier then fighting giants who will hit you a lot.
1a. Don't really care about being killed...my current record-0/50...I don't care about a stupid k/d ratio, just trying to get to flats. If they made a section out of the wild with aggressive pirates/druids, i would sit there instead, would be faster overall imo.
2. A pk cape earned by getting lots of afk kills is not a skill cape at all...its an afk kill cape. Change it to a skulled cape, then its actual skill. Feel free to disagree, thats completely fine, just giving my 2 cents. Also I don't care to get one not my cup of tea
3. I didn't really bring that up, but yes some will still proxy, can't get around that, but it will be a bit more of a setup to work then just opening 10 windows, not everyone understands vpns/proxies or how to configure them correctly. Again its just an idea that he brought up in this post.
4. Well I think we need to define terms then, they might be confusing multi logging with multiboxing...multiboxing would be pking on multiple guys at the same time, multi logging is just being on them. Like when I'm on my pc, i usually am training on 5-6 guys at a time.
Only issue i see with multilogging in pking is if you are fighting someone for a while and end up killing them, they log another guy next to you and attack, you die because you are low on food, that is the issue I would think most people have. Don't really know how that could be fixed or monitored and i believe that is the point of this thread, to find a balance between.
Now that thats cleared up, maybe a reasoned response to my suggestion can be made rather then some ad hominem attacks that further nothing.
