Question regarding 3s boxing

Why do people use potions?  Stats wise, shouldn't the pots nullify each other?  Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems like a waste of gold.

Using super str pots with 2 str will allows you to hit for 2 points of damage on str mode which is a big thing on lvl 3s now.

If you plan to box without potions be sure you have 2 attack or def, as an extra str level is worthless on its own.

Real rsc "no potions" was not an option, and it still should not be fucking up skillers ability to make some money.

Anyway it may be leftover from that era where people still just pot as well as dickstickers explanation.
