Billy, that is so great! I'm trying to find a new home after the official RSC servers shut down, and I really love what you guys have going on here, I'd just like to be able to play in the tougher environment I'm used to. I love the implementation of iron man as well!

Do you know how long it would take for you to implement a vanilla classic xp mode? I'm excited, and hopeful for the future!

Would there be a separate high score list for the vanilla model as well?

And be able to do Iron Man and Ultimate Ironman under these conditions would be cool.

This is probably how it'll play out, maybe a badge for vanilla-style players too.

What would the icon be to distinguish 1x XP rates chars? Mods have crown, ironmen have knight's helmet logos, deadman had red names.

Hello, thanks for your interest in a vanilla Classic XP experience! Currently there are plans underway to introduce a classic 1x XP mode. We also have plans to reform the leveling scheme for the default mode, essentially making the lower levels slower than they are now.

I'm really excited for this and looking forward to not-spawning with full bronze armor so I can enjoy the game from scratch. Is this still under-way and being implemented?

Vanilla gamemode thoughts:

Can only trade with other 1xp chars, creates the intial feeling of when RSC started and would be a niche gamemode which would be a lot popular than DMM. Creates extreme competition within the gamemode, the game mode would be extremely unlikely to die out. It would be a time consuming game. It would be a real achievement. The current items floating around have been for over 4yrs, it would destroy the gamemode if players could just trade their mains and buy ALL the mats they wanted. That would mean that the richest, and most often longest playing members of this server would have an extremely unfair advantage to those who are new and straight from RSC, which is who we are trying to cater for anyway. There should definetly be seperate hiscores.

You'd have to ask the community if they'd wanna be seperated from rest of players dueling/trading/wildy though. IDK if it would be a popular idea, I do think its a good one though.

This is something the staff should seriously consider, it was only a matter of time before regular RSC closed, we now have an influx of players wanting this gamemode. would be interesting. A key feature of this gamemode for it to be suceed is what I believe to be competition

get with the times simple as that . this will split the playerbase even more.
