P2p is utter trash, that's badly designed, doesn't really work and just feels buggy.
The best fix would be remove it and give F2p....but there is things that could make it less trash.
Problems.
1. Pots, we are given a choice of EITHER carrying pots around and having 3 food(60 hp) disadvantage OR relogging every 30 or so seconds, in and out, keeping the potted stats high, it's like stupid and wrecks game play, why on earth would anyone want to relog every 30 seconds, this is a bug and was never intended.
2. Poison, shoots poison arrows runs off....what fun!
3. Regearing accounts, If you want to pk here realistically you need a lvl 50, lvl 60, lvl 90, flat, If you have those somewhere every few days you have to walk them all to the bank, get the right gear, take old gear off, put new gear on, open bank, take food, runes etc, There's people on here with a Lot of accounts, it just doesn't work having to regear them all for 2 days. So a lot of people just don't bother.
4. Ridiculous hits, No one whos any good or has played this game more than a few weeks enjoys being 3 hit or 3 hitting anyone. This is the single biggest problem,. Flats shouldn't get 3 hit.
Solutions
1. Give a free cape that holds pots, with no delay. Ultimate solution, the pk cape but gives same boost as normal cape but holds pots so no one ever has to login or out to hold potted stats or carry pots at a disadvantage. The PK cape is trash currently so just change it to a different function, carry pots + better stats + some wild tps built in.
2. Just make the odds of being poisoned less.
3. Fast 1 click regear 2 tabs, p2p or f2p, one click instant regear, what about even if you log a f2p account into wilderness for the first time during that p2p cycle, you are given an option of being auto tped to edge bank, rather than logging in castle with f2p gear on?
4. A simple solution could be a large boost to Sapphire and Emerald rings absorbing more damage and making the odds of being 3 hit much less, or even make ruby rings a combined sapphire and emerald ring(boosted) that gives far less chance of 3 hits. Even just make it a flats only item if your bothered about affecting 1 defers.
