Looks like winter has come to rscrevolution! Winter means snow, and snow means snowball fights!

How the Grincher Stole Christmas

A big green demon has returned to rscrevolution to muck up the yuletide!
Talk to Santa in Edgeville to see how you can help, then talk to Santa's Elf nearby!
This is one EPIC quest you will not want to miss, pictures won't do it justice so I won't try!
Requirements: 28 quest points, 30 agility, 50+ Hits encouraged

Xmas Store & Tokens

Anyone who played during last years winter event will remember the Winter Tokens.
Gather these tokens in game to buy new cosmetics or other presents and trinkets at the holiday store in Edge.
You can get the tokens as a random event from skilling, or killing.
And the higher up you are in the wilderness, the more likely mobs will be to drop these tokens!

The Elf Merchant in Edgeville will exchange your Xmas Tokens for treats and prizes at the following rates:
-Hot Cocoa - 300 tokens
-Present - 500 tokens
-White Gloves *NEW* - 5,000 tokens
-Royal Cape *NEW* - 12,500 tokens
-Royal Hood *NEW* - 12,500 tokens

Hot cocoa cuts your fatigue rate in half for 2 hours! Don't skill without it!
Presents contain some random item or items, it could be junk, supplies, gear,
...or very rarely, a rare item such as a Santa hat, Santa Top, Santa Bottom, or Elf Hat!

MINIGAMES:

Adventurers who participate in the holiday quest will also be rewarded with access to our thrilling minigames for prizes!

Lil Grincher Hunt

Nimble trackers, race against other players to hunt down the Grincher's chief lieutenant, Lil Grincher, in a recurring global hide-n-seek!
Once you have the Compass from the Xmas Quest, use it in the regular world to track down his location!
He drops a key to unlock the Grincher's Chest in Edgeville Dungeon (southeast of Edge Dungeon Wildy gate)
Find him multiple times to upgrade your key for better prizes!
Hurry though, your treasure key disappears only 20 minutes after it is first picked up!

Tier 1 key reward: 50 tokens and 40k worth of loot;
Tier 2 key reward: 125 tokens and 120k worth of loot;
Tier 3 key reward: 300 tokens and 280k worth of loot;
Tier 4 key reward: 750 tokens and 280k worth of loot.

Grincher Boss Battle

Hardened warriors are invited to join other high-combat players to defeat the snowball-slinging Grincher himself for tokens and other loot.
The Elf from the holiday quest in Edgeville can return you to the Grincher's Plateau, where you can defeat him for tokens and presents.
Be careful though! Aside from throwing a mean snowball, the Grincher is known to charge and knock down everyone in his path!

Double XP

Talk to the Xmas Store Elf in Edgeville to start a free 48-hour session of doubled experience.
EDIT: You get another 24 hours of double experience when you talk to elf again!
Double XP will not stack with any other form of double XP (e.g. easter eggs), but WILL stack with wilderness XP like ::skull or ::hotspot!

Free PK Weekend

The first weekend of the event (Sat 23 / Sun 24) provides free temporary rune sets for PKers.
Talk to the Cursed Warrior in Edgeville for your set.

This event is running from now until the New Year, so stay tuned for surprises!
