Anyone ever fantasized themselves with the correlation between what you do in real life, and the game? would it be beneficial to think of the killing as actual, for example, you kill a cow, you just slaughtered a real animal, or you pickpocket or kill a man, and you literally just commited a mortal sin if playing religiously. where does the line be drawn, and would it be fun to play with such limits, and if applied, what would be left for you to do?
also it is a root of thinking which i easierly applied to other games when i was alot younger than i am now.
if killing a "real animal" was that huge of a mark on me, this means i couldnt gain any combat levels, and couldnt harm anything, or atleast kill it completely, or it would leave a bad mark on the real i. also the food i eat may lead to repercussion, eating cooked shrimp, tuna, lobster etc would only make me feel worse as a person, so i would have to only eat bread, and cheese, and what other items only? chopping trees might be morally wrong, depending on how that affects you as an individual, honestly i dont like chopping trees, but thats just me. pickpocketing wouldnt be allowed, since it breaks a law, of individual property and ownership of what they have. fletching would be allowed, but only for target practice, so combat would be restricted to dummies, or possibly plant monsters if there are any, right? i dont know if killing a skeleton is morally right, especially if it is still somehow alive.. im sure more details could be expanded upon. most quests would not be allowed to be completed, since combat might be there, or mischief, rescuing a prince from captivation might be taking sides or being a hero, so maybe we could list the only things you can do as a religious real consequence player.. im sure there are alot more interesting suprises, such as dying which should not happen since in the religious life of common sense, if you die once, usually that is it, right? andwho knows what else, i wonder if the friends list is morally wrong, since it might resemble false telekinesis. either way, this was interesting as a post and if this was done alongside ironman mode, it would be interesting to see how if any game played in such a way, would effect us as a player and as a whole.
