Here is a sample of one of the quests I wrote for the area,

2: Two Merchant’s Treasure. (Must have completed Shack Of Lunacy)
you come in to a small clearing next to avalar, there are a few old shelters for the less fortunate run down huts, and some merchant’s that have set up camp, two merchants in particular approach the players and try to sell them a broken steel long sword and an assortment of rusty iron helmets. Upon buying/rejecting the items: First Merchant>“I Can see You are not as dimwitted as I thought, Maybe they can help us with our treasure..” : Second Merchant> “Shut up scarios! They are not to be trusted!” First Merchant: > “They are the best shot we have Davra! Nobody else we have asked has even come close to figuring it out” Second Merchant:> “Well I suppose your right… Well, Adventures please I beg of you lend us your aid and you will be rewarded, You see, We have this chest, filled with our original treasures and trinkets that we came here to sell, but the first night we witnessed another merchant being robbed of all his goods, so we spent the rest of our money on a Chest that requires a very special type of key to open it, we decided to ask our assistant to hide the key, but he never came back, he did leave us this clue to where he was going but the clue is just too confusing to follow, would you go and retrieve the key? Youll be rewarded handsomely” Player Decision to take quest gives them>
“Splendid, here is the note that our assistant left, before he disappeared to go set the other clues, the bastard never came back and we have been trying to figure out the clue for three days now and everyone else we have asked couldn’t figure it out”
Player Decision: No – "Well I Do hope you change your mind! Or we wont be able to sell you any of these items in the chest."
The note has a riddle on it. First Clues=> scathed by rot, disease and death, plants and trees and all the rest, a tomb of nature that was smitten, that is where the nexts clues hidden. The clue at the end has a series of numbers (1,3,5,7,5,1,3,7,3,1)
>This will take the players to the dead grove, upon looking around they will find The trees have Number Etched into them, They’ll Dig on tree Number 36 when they figure it out and get a glass bottle with the second clue in it.
=>Second Clue: cast the ray of pure white past the day and into night glowing bright it steers the way for safe passage from the bay.
>This will take the players to the light house, they will need to break into the light house to get the next clue, (Or it will already be broken if the players have completed Misty peak mystery quest) the clue scroll can be found up the top of the lighthouse in the light bulb casing.
=>Third Clues: The First Letter of Flies, Has Piercing Eyes, where Fish lies, and fire dies, claws and talons rip to sunder, wings spread as fast as thunder, in the middle is where youll find the plunder.
>This will take the players to Falcon Lake, Where they will find a row boat, they will need to take the row boat out to the lake where they will find a floating bottle they will also Spot the drowned body floating next to it of the Merchants assistant.
Bring the key to the merchant to complete the quest and let them know what happened to their assistant.
REWARDS:
Players may now purchase rare equipment and items from the merchants.
In addition players will be rewarded with 2000xp and 500 Gold.
