Go BackTHE OFFICAL RSCR IDEAS AND SUGGESTIONS THREAD - with sprites (5/27)
Because there are many new threads here about changes to RSCR, I'm cross posting my original suggestion thread here also. https://www.rscrevolution.com/viewtopic.php?id=16940. This section seems to get more views.
Feel free to PM me and I'll add your idea or suggestion to this thread so we can have one giant laundry list of ideas for admins/mods to look at.
Hey All-
I've strictly been an RSC player from the early 2000s. Never even attempted to play RS2 and on. But out of curiosity to see what the real RS is doing today, I checked the site to get some ideas. RSCR already has plenty of ideas from newer versions of RS so this is not out of the ordinary. Most of these are not my original ideas but mixed ideas from RS + RSCR + forums.
I usually browse this and sit quiet and just play solo but I thought with all the talk of buffing NPC drops and king, I thought I'd share some things I'd like to see in RSCR.
PKing
NEW EAST WILD (see pic below)
New area similar to fort in east wild below range guild. Would be massive and have a lot of new features.
*you will need either high agility, or possibly high pk lvl (if added) to use the bridges at lava shown by blue lines.
In this area you will find many new NPCs that drop only pk supply loot, or new NPCs that drop look mentioned below for new benefits.
Maybe this new area is always double xp which is an incentive to train, pk, skill there. New dragons would live here which drop the rest of full dragon armor and 2h.
- make certain NPCs in wild on drop loot ONLY if player is skulled. Rewards from loot would be buffed as it would be high risk high reward.
- PK mode players would earn points instead of xp. Points can then be turned into levels for only combat skills. You can customize your build at anytime outside of wild whenever you want. This would allow players who have enough points to be flats for a few hours, find that lvl 34 pking is hot right now, switch to a 34 build, pk, then switch back to flats. Points could be harder to gain than xp, or easier, depending on community voting. This way you can have one character, be any build you want at any time.
- PK mode players would have special NPCs in wild that drop only pk supplies. Different level monsters for less or more loot.
- What about adding Player Killing as a new skill?
the only way to level up would be to PK. Kills would count as xp. Capes could have extra benefits depending on lvl/color.
- Higher pk level would allow you to train in wild with p2p items only on NPCs.
- Higher pk level would allow you to cross lava bridges in east wild.
- Higher pk level would allow you to teleport anywhere in wild with runes if you are out of battle for 10 seconds.
- Higher pk level would allow you to use "spell" that would only let 1 player attack/mage/range you at a time. for 1 vs 1s
- Higher pk level would let the player weld new unique accessories other than cape which would grant small but significant weapon aim, power, or armor giving you an advantage. But also worth risking losing it if you die.
Other ideas would be to add random teams when you enter wild or certain part of wild. When you enter a special color cape will indicate team.
A big thing players hate is being 5 v 1. So if you enter lets say new east wild, when you enter the area of it, if auto gives you 1 of 3 (or x number) team names. Would auto cycle through the team names so if 8 people enter that area, it would be 3 3 2 on each team. Pre existing teams or clans don't count in this area.
Then with this new team idea, could be expanded to be like fort with loot drops going to each player in the team if held for 20 minutes without dying.
- Maybe the dragons or certain NPCs are like Reaper that need at least 2 players to kill to earn drop. Not as powerful but high level or high hits.
- Revenant or other NPC will roam that will attack players if it comes close to them. So now you must watch out for pkers and this pking NPC.
- New magic spell would be called "Support". This will spawn a friendly NPC to help protect and fight for you. (imagine revenant being aggressive to everyone but you until it dies. Can be used once per life. So you must die before you can use spell again or wait 30 mins or something.
Any other suggestions to spice things up?
Equipment
NPC DROPS
Hardened R2h (f2p)
to make hardened r2h, you need to get "hardened dust" (looks like rune color ashes) as a very rare NPC drop. Once you have the dust, you combine it with the r2h to create a "dusted r2h". Dusted r2h are the same and regular r2hs, but in order to get 15% chance in furnace, it HAS to be a dusted r2h, not regular r2h.
Hardened Dust (very rare NPC drop - can be sold and traded making it very valuable)
+6 from r2h making its 77aim 77power
Lets finally just add full dragon already
- custom RSCR quest to weld large, plate, legs, kite, armor bonus added from rune stats, not hardened
large +52 armor
plate +110 armor
legs +74 armor
kite +69 armor
d2h 90 aim, 90 power
throwing knife
- Only attainable from Dragons (possibly from clue scrolls)
- Each dragon would drop a different piece of armor
- 2 new dragons added with a plate drop and leg drop
Lava Dragon lvl 305 - soloable
Overlord Dragon lvl 325 - need a team (think of this like a revenant or plague or holiday boss)
Dragon gauntlets +13 armor, +6 aim, + 4 power
Since we added gauntlets, adding the same for boots for full complete sets
Black +6, +1, +1
Mith +7, +1, +1
Addy +7, +2, +2
Rune +8, +3, +2
Dragon +10, +4, +2
DRAGON FLAIL buff
Dragon flail should have buffed stats to 62 aim and 82 power.
DRAGON SPEAR
need to high arch for more.
maybe somewhere between 8-12k
REAPER & PLAGUE Capes
Reaper
- Hunters cape
+3 aim, +3 power, +4 armor, +2 range, magic, prayer
Plague
- Dusty Cape
+1 aim, +1 power, +10 armor, +2 range, magic, prayer

CUSTOM BONUSES FOR COSMETIC ITEMS (a way to ensure items hold value)
As a way for items to hold value and increase over time, I have the idea to basically exchange duplicate items for added bonus.
This only applies to high value rares.
For example, if you own 2 blue party hats, you can combine them which would give you an armor bonus. If you get another one, you can again combine it to increase the bonus. This will help decrease rares in game, with making them more valuable not only because there are fewer, but because they hold their bonus stats through trading or staking. Having a blue party hat is rare enough, but if you own one that has some sort of bonus, then it becomes more rare.
Same thing applies to the scythe or halloween masks, or hoods, or dragon masks.
Maybe once you combine a rare, you get the option of what bonus it gives. Armor, prayer, magic, range, aim, or power.

WEAPON STONEBANDS or STONEBLADES
to customize your style of play
more aim? more power for max hit?
introducing stone bands
These stone bands can be equipped to any weapon to boost stats. They wrap around the base or handle of your weapon OR the color the blade of your weapon depending on if you want AIM or POWER boosts. You can pick, but once you pick there is no going back.
For example the new name for weapons will be:
rune 2hander with crystal band
or
dragon axe with ammonite blade
New stones in game from loot (use these stones with band/blade drops from higher NPCs)

Skills
ATTACK, DEFENSE, STRENGTH, HITS
This goes by your xp and is basically like have the max level be higher than 99.
13m - 20m = to lvl 99.5
20m- 35m = to lvl 100
35m- 55m = to lvl 100.5
55m - 85m = to lvl 101
85m-135m = to lvl 101.5
135m-200m = to lvl 102
*MAX LEVEL STAYS AT 99, BUT YOUR XP WILL GIVE YOU HIGHER CHANCES OF HITTING HIGHER AS IF YOU REACHED LVL 102*
a huge incentive to keep training for boxing fights, flats wars, npc training.
WOODCUT + FIREMAKING
Since we got the new dragon hatchet and everything I thought of making it more useful.
Only the dragon hatchet can cut down Elder trees.
90 - Elder tree and logs
Elder shortbow
Elder Longbow
For fire making, each log can now be lit for more xp.
Each higher log will last for 30 more seconds than the previous one.
THIEVING
Idea here is that certain monsters would be theivable that have a chance to get fur, hide, scales, skin. You then need other items to sew outfits. Each outfit give extra xp in certain skill while you wear it. Combining already made outfits with very rare monster items will give boosted xp rates.
Maybe only monsters in wild award the thieving fur etc making the wild more populated.
FISHING + COOKING
85 - Jelly fish, heals 18 f2p
90 - Whale, heals 25 p2p
PRAYER
46 - Titanium Skin - Increases Strength by 20%, drains 80
49 - Elite Strength - Increases Strength by 20%, drains 80
52- Superior Reflexes - Increases Attach by 20%, drains 80
60 - Protect from Fire - Anti Dragon breathe, drains 60
66 - Invisibility - hides player from NPCs, drains 10
72 - Protect from spells - just like missles but for magic, drains 60
85 - Almighty Power - Titanium skin, elite strength, and superior reflexes combined, drains 100
CRAFTING + MINING
I really love the new rings and ammy and think they can still be upgraded.
Adding in new gems with crafting level
90 - Obsidian gem - able to make ob ring and ammy, same stats
(current ob ring and ammy would get name change to Elder Ring and Elder ammy and a decent buff to only be attainable from NPCs)
96 - Platinum gem - able to make plat ring and ammy, stats above ob, but below elder ammy. TBD
Opals, Jade, and Red Topaz
These finally get a use.
Use one of these on any ammy or ring to give a +3 in:
Opal - Weapon Aim
Jade - Weapon Power
Red Topaz - Armor
Dragon pickaxe
FLETCHING (these can only be made with Elder logs)
88 - Dragon arrows - they hit harder than rune. duh.
90 - Fire arrows (lit arrow)- Mix clay and rocks with furnace and arrows to create (rune arrows but with fire damage after each hit that can be up to 4)
95 - Exploding arrows - Mix clay and dynamite with furnace and arrows to create (rune arrows but with exploding damage after each hit that can be up to 8)
HERBLAW (exact herbs and secondaries TBD later if community approves)
Allows different load outs
New strategy for staking
Help with farming
Makes people want to PK more
52 - Extreme Attack Potion - 20% + 7 levels per sip
62 - Extreme Strength Potion - 20% + 7 levels per sip
70 - Paralyze Monster Potion - 6 mins per sip
73 - Extreme Defense Potion - 20% + 7 levels per sip
79 - Super Ranging Potion - 15% + 5 levels per sip
82 - Anti Dragon Breathe Potion - 6 mins per sip
85 - Overload Potion - Boosts ATT, DEF, STR by 20% + 7 levels per sip
88 - Luck Potion - Increases Very Rare and Rare drops by 5%
92 - Elder Overload Potion - Boosts ATT, DEF, STR, MAGE, RANGE by 22% + 9 levels per sip
AGILITY
More shortcuts basically
-could be used at slayer spots
-could be used in wild to get to NPCs or to banks or to get away
Special training spot where you need certain agility lvl to enter with special NPCs that drop agility loot such as:
- Nimble hood
- Nimble pullover
- Nimble sweatpants
- Nimble loafer
- Nimble mittens
*cannot be made
Each would decrease your likelihood of falling with the whole outfit making you never fall or fail
****NEW SKILL****
PROSPERITY - the luck skill
- you gain xp in this skill from your performance playing the game.
-you would be award xp based on number of turns it takes you to kill a NPC.
-Full xp would be the NPCs level. you must kill that NPC within the amount of turns decided or your xp goes down.
For example, a black dragon lvl 190. If you kill it within (lvl/13=14) turns, you get the full 190xp towards prosperity.
for every 4 turns, its decreased by .25%. so if you kill the black dragon in 18 turns, you get 190/.75=142.5xp.
-you also gain xp based on your loot. if you get a common, uncommon, rare, very rare drop, your xp gets multiplied by x.
-cooking, catching a fish, cleaning a herb etc, all give 2 xp so no matter what you are skilling or doing in RSCR, you are gaining xp.
Details of what you earn for what levels still needs to be decided based on list below.
This skill increases your chance on luck such as:
- hitting harder and more often in fights, magic, and ranged
- more 0's on you from your opponent and monsters melee, magic, ranged
- faster hp restore
- don't burn as many fish
- don't slip as much cutting trees
- fatigue is decreased
- chance of making double arrows fletching
- chance of double xp during bones
- iron bars are 100%
- find more ore and gems
- higher chance to find the herb you need when you have unfinished potion in your inventory
- chance of double loot from NPCs
- chest timer is half time
- clue scrolls have one less task (chance to bring more trimmed and gilded items)
- change for potions to last longer
- decreased your drain rate on prayers
- fail and fall less using agility
- increased NPC rare and very rare loot (possible loot droppings like slayer where you must have certain Prosperity level to even have chance at the loot
- so much more, this skill is limitless and super fun
Events
MAX DAMAGE
Any number of people can join. Possibly 4 minimum or something.
Almost the same concept as the tournaments.
1) Everyone gets same gear in tournaments depending on which level someone chooses.
2) Everyone is put in a room with alter and a NPC at random with 1000 hit points (or mathematically correct number) with lets say 3 minutes on the clock.
3) You fight the NPC and try to do as much damage as possible or kill it.
4) You may run to eat, and pot, and restore prayer.
5) Whoever does the most damage to the NPC wins. Maybe have prizes for 2nd and 3rd.
6) If you kill the NPC, first one that kills its wins, or maybe you get an extra prize or you get to keep the gear used to kill the NPC.
NPC hits would change on level and weapons.
Flats would take 25 total damage like kbd
33's would take like 8 or 9 max damage or something.
Came up with it because my fav event is 90s hybrid tournaments.
I just wanna pot and pray and hit as many 33's+ as possible. But you have to still strategically pray and pot and eat so you don't die so you can do the most damage.
Is it worth getting the extra hit or running to eat with 9 hits left?

Some pretty good stuff you got there and put together well.
Also the hair styles could be a good one.
