If I skip a task and have say, 68 slayer points remaining - the next task i do complete will say you have earned 15 points but my points remain at 68. I don't get points as normal until I complete another task.

Unless this is an intended extra penalty for skipping a task, it's an annoying bug that screws you out of points that should be easy to fix.
