I thought the OP was aiming at people who like to high alch and wear cool gear and didnt want to accidentally high alch something. I did not realize you were aiming your ideas at trolls.

It doesnt matter, if someone wants to get rid of a rare, they could create a new character put it there, and never log in again etc. etc.

Even if they were put onto a level 3 account that is planned to never be used. Atleast the items would still be availaible. People end up needing things and will more than likely access the rares on that level 3. its just the idea of not being able to get rid of them.

I think a fun idea would be if someone high alched any rare. It's randomly given to a player who is online lol.

I was not aware of people actually alching any high value items for lulz. Seems to me that it has the same affect as someone hugging the rare forever i.e. holding onto it for life. If anything, widespread alching of rares would necessitate a future drop of them, wouldn't it?
