I am getting a white screen after I press the red play button

I did a search and see that another character had this same problem.  I think it is due to the java version.  I recently did a fresh install of Windows 10 and downloaded the JDK version 9.  The launcher is not working.  Is there any way to potentially update the launcher?  I'm having a hard time finding java 8 or java 7 online.

They seemed to remove applet support completely in Java 9, our client is launched as an applet to a window so it no longer works with Java 9.

While I'm fixing it, uninstall Java 9 and install this:
